Choosing a web agency starts with understanding the work.
A portfolio image does not tell you who handled content, implementation or launch. We clarify those responsibilities before a project starts.
Selecting a web agency involves editing access, licences, content preparation and future maintenance as well as visual design. Weapse presents deliverables and responsibilities so your business can assess the complete scope.
Agree which content your team provides and which work the agency handles. Treat copy, images, development and integrations as identifiable deliverables.
02
Design and approval
Plan how the homepage, inner pages and mobile experience will be reviewed. Identify approvers and the revision scope.
03
Ownership and continuity
Clarify domain access, website management, licences and support. Assess future editing and maintenance needs separately.
01 / PROJECT DECISIONS
Questions to ask a web agency
Did the agency design, develop or also optimise the reference project? Does the live site still represent the original handover? Those details make a portfolio useful. An attractive image does not establish identical technical scope across projects.
Weapse identifies customer brands and delivered services together. Website work, SEO and social media are distinct deliverables even for one client. We use authorised project visuals without turning unmeasured outcomes into performance claims.
02 / PROJECT DECISIONS
Working with an Istanbul web agency remotely
Your decision-makers, content team and approval schedule shape the project more than location alone. We begin with the current website, business objective and decisions that need agreement.
Since 2017 we have served more than 100 businesses across different sectors. That experience supports better discovery questions rather than applying the same design to every customer. The working arrangement is scoped to your business.
03 / PROJECT DECISIONS
Comparing agency proposals
Two offers with the same page count may include different work. Original design, copy preparation and form testing may be included in one and excluded from another. Compare revisions, content entry, launch responsibilities and access in writing.
Maintenance, advertising spend, domain renewals and paid licences should not be assumed to be included. We assess the services needed instead of adding ecommerce or advertising when they do not serve the brief.
04 / PROJECT DECISIONS
What happens after handover?
Your team may need to add services, staff or products. Editable content and work requiring development support should be distinguished. For WordPress and Elementor projects, content access and handover notes are planned at the start.
If you are changing agencies, we assess account ownership, licences and content that needs to remain. Access belonging to a previous provider cannot simply be assumed transferable. The migration scope follows that assessment.
YOUR QUESTIONS
Questions before we start.
Does Weapse only provide web design?
We also assess ecommerce, mobile development, branding, SEO and social media requirements. Each service has its own scope and deliverables.
How do we move from our current agency?
Share the website and which accounts your business controls. Do not send passwords; appropriate access and transition requirements follow the assessment.
Are portfolio results guaranteed for our business?
No. Scope, market and objectives differ. Examples demonstrate work, not guaranteed rankings, sales or income.
